The following penalties are provided for violation of the deadlines for payment of income tax:

1. Penalty fee

If the tax is not paid on time, a penalty is charged. According to Article 75 of the Tax Code of the Russian Federation, the penalty amount is 1/300 of the refinancing rate of the Central Bank of the Russian Federation for each day of delay. If the debt exceeds a certain period, the rate increases to 1/150.

2. Penalties

According to Article 122 of the Tax Code of the Russian Federation, a taxpayer may be held liable for incomplete payment of taxes in the form of a fine in the amount of:
- 20% of the amount of arrears if violations were committed unintentionally;
- 40% if intentional tax evasion is proven.

3. Blocking the current account

If there is a debt, the tax authorities may decide to suspend operations on the taxpayer's bank accounts. This allows you to prevent further financial transactions until the debt is repaid.

Therefore, it is important to meet the deadlines for paying income tax in order to avoid financial losses and legal consequences.
