Before the delivery of imported children's toys to the Russian Federation market, it is necessary to undergo a mandatory certification procedure that confirms the conformity of products with the requirements of the technical regulations of the Customs Union (TR CU). To successfully complete the certification, you will need to collect and submit the following documents:

List of required documents

1. Application for certification
Submitted by the applicant (manufacturer or supplier) to an accredited certification body.
2. Technical characteristics of the toy
A detailed description of the product, including dimensions, material of manufacture, purpose and age group of users.
3. Manufacturer's document
A quality certificate or test report issued by the toy manufacturer at home (if available).
4. Purchase and sale contract
Or a delivery agreement confirming the purchase of a batch of toys for import.
5. User Manual
The original documentation, translated into Russian, contains instructions on how to assemble, use, and care for the toy.
6. Product sample
It is necessary to provide a sample of the toy for laboratory research and testing.
7. Sample test report
The laboratory tests the sample for compliance with the quality and safety standards established by the technical regulations.
8. Expert opinion
An expert opinion is issued by an accredited center after successful completion of all stages of the study.
9. Registration certificate
If the product belongs to medical products or other special categories, a registration certificate will be required.

Certification stages

1. Analysis of technical documentation
The completeness of the submitted documentation and the correctness of filling out the applications are checked.
2. Laboratory analysis
The samples are sent to a testing laboratory to study the materials, construction and toxicological safety.
3. Registration of the certificate of conformity
After positive laboratory results, the certificate is issued to the applicant for a period of three years.

It takes about a month to complete the full certification procedure, depending on the workload of the center and the specifics of the products.
